The York Management School Scholarship Scheme
The York Management School (TYMS) is delighted to offer seven, £3,500 Masters Scholarships in 2013-14. The aim of the Scholarships is to attract applications and enrol students who appear to show excellent potential for participation in our Taught Master programmes.
Students holding a conditional or unconditional offer can apply for a scholarship. This invitation is also open to current York University UG finalist students.
These seven scholarships are available for the following programmes:
- MSc Accounting and Financial Management
- MSc Global Marketing
- MA Human Resource Management
- MSc International Business and Strategic Management
- MA Management
- MSc Management with Business Finance
- MRes Management
Application Process
Students holding a conditional or unconditional offer or current York University UG finalist students can apply for a scholarship by submitting a maximum 800 word essay*, 1.5 word spacing, minimum font:10pt, with the following title:
How I hope to benefit from a Masters qualification from the York Management School.
In addition please provide a one side A4 summary CV: please include your email address (no covering letter please).
*This 800 word limit is strictly enforced

Applications will be judged by the The York Management School for: Originality and relevance of the argument, structure and presentation. Their academic and non-academic achievements to date will be assessed by the summary CV. Students will be notified of the awards at the end of June 2013.
In adjudicating the awards the decision of The York Management School is final, no correspondence will be entered into.
