We are always happy to receive enquiries about our work at the IRS&TH and the courses, activities and opportunities for study and research which we offer. However, before contacting us please note that we are unable to respond to unsolicited requests for information about railway-related matters, answer general questions about railways or other transport topics, or carry out any form of research in response to general queries. We regret that pressures on our time mean any such queries are likely to remain unanswered.

The Friends of the National Railway Museum offer a chargeable research service, the surplus from which goes to supporting the work of the NRM.
