Our Health Economics for Health Care Professionals programmes have been set up in response to a need in health care sectors for high quality distance learning programmes in health economics. The programmes are a collaboration between the Centre for Health Economics, the York Health Economics Consortium and the Department of Economics and Related Studies.
The programmes allow students to gain an accredited qualification whilst continuing in their careers, and offer the flexibility to spread study over a period of years to match professional and personal circumstances.
Building on the success of the Health Economics for Health Care Professionals Postgraduate Certificate and Diploma Programmes by Distance Learning, we are delighted to confirm the launch of the University of York’s MSc in Economic Evaluation for Health Technology Assessment by Distance Learning.
The proposed programme structure is shown in this diagram: Programme Structure (PDF

We offer the option for people to sign up and study for individual programme modules with no requirement to undertake the full Certificate or Diploma programme, subject to suitable entry requirements and places being available. Click here for more information on Individual Modules.
