For any students looking for additional support with any mathematical elements of their course, help can be found at the Maths Skills Centre. The Maths Skills Centre offers drop in sessions to any student, or groups of students, who have specific problems and questions with the mathematical processes of their modules. Other facilities include copies of (core) course textbooks, self-help guides for common questions, fact and formulae leaflets to take away and computer access to browse lecture notes and other online maths resources.
For specialist help for the second and third year core modules (Microeconomics II, Macroeconomics II, Econometrics for Economists, Microeconomics III and Macroeconomics III) a Ph.D. student from the Economics department will be available at the following times:

You can find us on the first floor of the Harry Fairhust building.

From the Market Square shops, head up the spiral walkway towards the library. At to top turn left and walk to the Harry Fairhurst temporary entrance. Enter and go up the nearby stairs to the first floor. The Maths Skills Centre can be found across the floor, near the photocopiers.
