About the Centre for English Language Teaching

The Centre for English Language Teaching specialises in providing intermediate and advanced level English courses and academic preparation programmes. As part of the Department of Education, we are able to offer quality, research-informed courses for students from undergraduate to doctoral levels.

We offer courses, workshops and consultations in the following areas:

  • English for academic and research purposes
  • General English and examination preparation
  • Specialist Contract Programmes in English language and British culture
  • English language teacher education
