Ordinance 4: The Court

4.2 The Court is principally an advisory body, and its sole decision-making authority is in the exercise of power to appoint the Chancellor of the University, who chairs meetings of the Court. 

4.3 The Court meets a minimum of once per academic year. At its annual meeting, the Court receives a presentation on the finalised, audited annual report and financial statements of the University for the year end which the annual meeting follows.

4.4 The Constitution and Nominations Committee of the Council reviews and makes recommendations to the Council on the appointment and reappointment of members of the Court, in consultation with the Chancellor.
