Market Square is located at the heart of Heslington Campus and provides shopping for all staff, students, and visitors.

  Retailer of over 12,000 academic and literary titles, as well as gifts and stationery.
• Costcutter
  Offers fresh produce, ethnic and specialty groceries, and University merchandise.
• YourShop
  Run by the YUSU, this store sells convenience items as well as tickets for events.
• Campus Design, Copy & Print
  Provides printing and design services, including high volume and large format printing.
• Santander
  Banking services including current accounts and savings.
• Cash machines
  Market Square has two cash machines from HSBC and Barclays, plus another outside the Santander branch.

Other shopping

In addition to the services at Market Square, there are cash machines at Vanbrugh and James Colleges, as well as a Costcutter at Halifax College.
