Event details

The York Research Impact Forum aims to bring together researchers from across the University to share best practice and discuss issues around knowledge exchange and impact work.

Join us on Tuesday 6 July 2021, 9.30-11am for our Summer term Impact Forum session, cosponsored by YESI, where we will be looking at citizen engagement approaches involving members of the public in our research and its impacts. Sarah West, Rachel Pateman and Smriti Safaya, from Stockholm Environment Institute York, will be talking about a range of citizen science projects, what impacts can arise from these projects, and who participates in them. Bob Doherty, from Management and YESI's Sustainable Food Co-lead, will also present on the York Citizen Food Assembly and impacts of this approach on food system policymaking.

The impact forum sessions are open to all research staff at the University, to PhD students and to Professional Services staff who support impact.
