World-leading researcher to join the School of PEP

From October 2016, Professor Wlodek Rabinowicz, one of the most eminent researchers in the field of PPE, will join the School of PEP as Honorary Visiting Professor in Politics, Economics and Philosophy.

Prof Rabinowicz has long-established ties to various members of the School, and is very much looking forward to contributing to the excellent research done at the School in the PPE area.

Wlodek is particularly renowned for his work in decision and social choice theory; he has made outstanding contributions to moral philosophy in general and value theory in particular. All our students, but especially those taking the module ‘Rationality, Morality, and Economics’, will be invited to meet him when he visits York in April 2017.
