Cryptography MOOC launch

Staff from the Department of Mathematics have written a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) on "The Mathematics of Cryptography: from Ancient Rome to a Quantum Future"
"The Mathematics of Cryptography: from Ancient Rome to a Quantum Future" is a three-week course exploring the history of cryptography, with an emphasis on the mathematical developments used to create – and break – some of the strongest codes known.
The course goes live on Monday 18 September, and sign-up is free!
