Tackling Climate Change with the Social Sciences Workshop Series: Co-benefits and synergies
Event details
Workshops are open to all York researchers, and will aim to develop research project ideas driven by social science approaches and methods, although researchers from other disciplines are welcome.
Session 4: Co-benefits and synergies
After three stimulating sessions exploring new ideas and making connections across disciplines, in this workshop attendees will develop their ideas for action-oriented research projects inspired by the themes emerging from the thematic sessions, with the aim of identifying clear next steps and routes for proposal development.
When you register for this workshop you will be asked to provide a short summary of the idea(s) and research questions you’d like to develop in the workshop that will be used to form working groups on the day. Participants will then work in groups to choose ideas and develop these into potential research projects.
Participants are invited to review and build on the areas highlighted in the outputs from the previous sessions:
- Session 1: Working with uncertainty and systems thinking
- Session 2: Envisaging futures and authentic co-production
- Session 3: Just transitions and power relationships
