Long-term childhood policy modelling

This research theme develops and applies methods for providing decision-makers with better information about the long-term economic, social and health consequences of childhood policies.

Full lifecourse economic evaluation

New methods for the economic evaluation of childhood programmes - including wellbeing analysis, targeting analysis and distributional analysis - with an illustrative evaluation of a training programme for parents of young children with signs of conduct problems.

LifeSim Adulthood

A microsimulation model that extrapolates long-term economic, social and health outcomes from birth to death for each individual in the UK Millennium Cohort Study.

LifeSim Childhood

A microsimulation model of childhood development and health outcomes from birth to age 17, based on bespoke modelling of UK Millennium Cohort Study data.
