Jenny, MA in Victorian Literature and Culture

I chose to study at the University of York twice. I came here from Norway in 2011 for my undergraduate degree in English and Related Literature (BA) and chose to stay for my postgraduate degree in Victorian Literature and Culture (MA). I did not stay for nostalgic reasons, although I had plenty of them. For months I extensively researched other options. I visited other universities and critically considered other options (also outside the UK). However, my conclusion was: The University of York is one of the best universities in the world and it is one of the best places in the world to live. Few other universities can boast both academic excellence and the beauty and excitement that York has to offer.
