College Manager
Your college's operational lead. Oversees welfare issues and can talk through any of your more serious concerns if needed.
Deputy College Manager
Provides wellbeing interventions for our residential students and delivers key student experience projects on behalf of the local College and the Student Life and Wellbeing team.
College Life Coordinator
Provides welfare and wellbeing support under the guidance of the College Manager and Deputy College Manager. Delivers community interventions to make a positive difference to their members’ lives and studies through delivering events and activities.
College Life Advisors
Your College Life Advisors are students who work with the college to promote and support community activity and offer peer support for issues such as making friends, networking, and settling into student life at York. They work closely with the rest of the college team.
Your College Manager: Georgina Heath
Hi, I’m Georgina. My role is to support students both on and off-campus to thrive and succeed throughout their time at university.
I’m available to talk you through any concerns you may have, or support you through a difficult time. I works closely with our student leaders and committees and am always happy to meet with any students.

Your Deputy College Manager: Larry Healy
Hi, I’m Larry, your Deputy College Manager. I’m your first point of contact as a student.
I run the day-to-day administration of the college, support the College Manager and liaise with Accommodation Services, Facilities Management and Academic Departments.
If you need help with your accommodation, wellbeing, any general enquiries, or just want someone to talk to, please come and speak to me.

Your College Life Coordinator: Georgette Pooley
Your Vanbrugh College Life Coordinator (CLC): Georgette Pooley provides welfare and wellbeing support for both on campus and off campus students in Vanbrugh as well as working with our student leaders on projects such as welcome and orientation and college activities. If you or your housemates would like someone to speak to about a welfare issue, your CLC will be able to help and can escalate things if needed.

Your College Principal: Rob Aitken
Hi, I'm Rob, the Principal of Vanbrugh College. I represent Vanbrugh College on University committees and chair the College Council, the governing body of the College. I also attend weekly business meetings and enjoy meeting new students on arrival days and at special events.
I'm also a Senior Lecturer in Politics and a social anthropologist. My doctoral research focused on political culture, local identities and state formation in Mexico.

Vanbrugh College Student Association (CSA)
Vanbrugh College Student Association (student committee) is an elected group of students who run Freshers’ week, college events, college sport, Green Vanbrugh, raise money for the college charity (SASH) and host social and fundraising events. They work closely with the College Team and the Student Union (YUSU). They also run the merchandise store for the college.
Elected in Semester 1, the CSA are key members of the College Council and speak for the student population. Being on the CSA is also a great opportunity to develop transferable skills.
Vanbrugh College Fellows
We're very fortunate in having College Fellows whose enthusiasm and support is very much appreciated. These individuals also assist with links to University departments, community organisations; and alumni. Their contributions to College Council are valued by the staff and students of Vanbrugh College.
