This is a specialised Management Masters giving students an opportunity to study a wide range of international business topics. The programme is designed to provide students with knowledge and skills that would be well suited for careers as business consultants and/or strategy analysts in the broad arena of business and management, but especially in the areas of international business and strategic management. It will also be relevant to those wishing to work in business and economic development roles in public sector organisations.
The programme is suitable for students from any background and will rapidly develop an understanding of management and business studies to an advanced level, with particular reference to the current research agenda and innovative thinking in international business practice.

Applicants should have a good first degree (2:1 or equivalent) in any subject, although preference may be given to related areas including the following:
Applications will also be considered from candidates with a good 2:2 (or equivalent) and at least two years relevant work experience.
For students whose first language is not English, we normally require evidence of English language ability.

China: offers range from 80 to 85 in the four year bachelor’s degree. Diplomas are not accepted.
Greece: GPA of at least 6.5 in undergraduate degree
India: First-class undergraduate degree
Malaysia: GPA of at least 3 in undergraduate degree
Pakistan: First-class undergraduate degree
Turkey: GPA of at least 2.7 in undergraduate degree
Applicants for whom English is not their first language should provide evidence of English language competence.
Acceptable qualifications for Managment Master programmes are: IELTS: with overall score of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.5 in Writing and 6.0 in other components. TOEFL: 87, with a minimum of 23 in Writing and a minimum of 21 in all other components.

Applicants with an IELTS overall result of 6.0 and a 6.0 in the writing part of the test can take the University’s Pre-Masters English Language programme. This programme provides spoken and written skills development in specific subject areas, as well as preparation for Postgraduate level study in a UK environment.

Do I need to submit a sample of written work with my application?
You are not required to submit a piece of written work with your application for the MA in Management Masters programme.
If I have done my final year at an English-speaking University, do I still have to meet English language requirements?
If your prior study is from a UK University within the last two years, or the medium of instruction at your home University was English,* or you have sufficient experience of using English on a daily basis in a work environment* then you may be eligible for a language waiver.
* Please note; for the last two examples we would require further proof / evidence.

Can I work during my studies?
The MA in Management programme is a full-time one year (12 months) taught course. Students can take on occasional evening jobs, but attendance on the course is a priority.
Is there accommodation on Campus for Masters students?
Yes: there is accommodation available for students on postgraduate taught programmes. Further information can be found on the Postgraduate Accommodation webpages.
Can I submit an application now, even though I will not complete my Undergraduate degree until the Summer?
Yes: we encourage you to apply as soon as you can, with a most recent transcript, and any further documents can be added to your online application when available.
