Marking and Assessment Boycott
If you have an offer to study a postgraduate course with us and have been affected by the Marking and Assessment Boycott at some UK universities, we recognise that this may be a stressful time and want to assure you that we are committed to supporting your progression to postgraduate study.
If you’ve not received all of your final marks because of the boycott we’re offering some flexibility in what documents you can provide to meet the condition(s) in your offer letter.
What documents we can accept
Although we still require a transcript of marks or degree certificate that confirms your degree classification and that your degree has been awarded, we will accept:
- Transcripts that are missing up to 45 credits of confirmed marks where a degree classification has still been provided.
- A screenshot of marks taken from your portal that is stamped and/or signed by the awarding institution and confirms your degree classification and award.
If you’re unable to provide a transcript or degree certificate
Please supply an official letter or email from your institution confirming that they are unable to provide any further documentation than what you have provided.
We will make a decision on these documents on a case-by-case basis.
