Synopsis

A new mother has spent longer than expected with her baby daughter due to the Covid lockdown - but now she must confront the post-pandemic return to work. A docu-drama filmed 100% remotely during the coronavirus lockdown.

The film was made entirely remotely between the Isle of Man and Shrewsbury, UK, in the first lockdown of 2020, created with an innovative filming method. They shot a test version of the film in the Isle of Man, then sent the equipment to actor Freya in Shrewsbury to film herself and her baby, without any tech experience! You can see how they managed it in our behind the scenes videos.

The film has gone on to be selected in 32 festivals around the globe, winning awards such as "Best of the Fest" at Show Low Film Festival, Arizona, "Best Arthouse Short Film" at Jane Austen Film Fest in Bath, "Life During Covid Category Winner" at Socially Relevant Festival in New York, "Best Actress" and "Best Editing" at Vesuvius Film Festival in Italy.
