A movement workshop to equip you with devising and physical theatre skills to apply to your theatre-making practice. Xolani will lead you through a warm-up, and a combination of dance and physical theatre games and techniques to help bring confidence and clarity to your physical performance skills. 

This is a practical session and you will get moving! Remember to wear something comfortable and bring water to stay hydrated! 

Xolani is a Leeds based Director, Movement Director and Performer who trained at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance. Her theatre journey began in 2021 at Leeds Playhouse. Theatre credits include: Mugabe My Dad and Me (English Touring Theatre, Brixton House, York Theatre Royal), Northern Girls (Pilot), A Little Night Music (Leeds Playhouse and Opera North), Wendy and Peter Pan (Leeds Playhouse and Bunkamura). Facilitator credits: Phoenix Dance Theatre, Northern Dance, Adidas.
