Jeannette Kadia: Associate Lecturer, Language and Study Skills

Area(s) of Responsibility:

I plan and coordinate the 15-week and 10-week Social Sciences Pre-sessional modules at the International Pathway College. I also teach academic language and study skills on modules for the Pre-Masters programmes.

Professional Interests:

Socio-cultural influences on learning EAP, World Englishes and student motivation.

Further Information:

Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. I have worked at universities and language schools both in the UK and overseas. I hold an MA and a BA (Hons) in Applied Linguistics & Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.
