Men, in comparison with women, are less likely to:

  • express concerns about their physical and mental health
  • engage with professional help
  • visit a GP
  • attend an NHS health check

Men's Health @ York is an initiative which focuses on the improvement of men's health. Its aim is to encourage men to get together, take part in activities and support others to talk about physical and mental health issues.

We're supporting a number of options that will give you the chance to learn more about these issues and provide you opportunities to discuss them, to access support when you need it - or just to enjoy spending time with other people. Follow the links below to find out more, or email us if you have feedback about this initiative.
