Tell us how you travel and win an iPad

Posted on 7 March 2022

As more of us return to campus it is important to have an understanding of how you travel to and around the university, as well as what improvements you want to see made.

We are keen to continue improving our travel and transport provision, making it both enjoyable and accessible for staff and students, so today we are launching the 2022 Annual Travel and Transport Survey.

To tell us how you currently travel and how you travelled pre-covid please take part here:

Complete the survey

Complete the survey by midnight on 25 March and you will be entered into a prize draw to win an iPad. The survey will take only 5 minutes to complete.

The results of the survey will inform the ongoing development and implementation of travel links to the campus, as well as further improvements in travel provision.

Your opinion matters

Our last Travel and Transport survey was sent in 2020. As a result of the findings from that survey we made a number of positive travel and transport changes.

Here are some examples...

  • You asked for increased cycle parking around campus:
We carried out a full audit and now have additional stands, including a rainbow parking area in Market Square
  • You asked for a better service and more capacity on bus services:
We have worked with First to launch new services, including the inter-campus shuttle extension to Grimston Bar Park & Ride, and increased capacity on inter-campus routes
  • You requested more flexible parking permits and costs:
New flexible use permits have been introduced
