Event details

As the population and industrialisation of Bradford soared during the 19th century in an unprecedented manner, the need for a clean secure water supply became ever more pressing. Norman will look at some of the challenges that engineers of the time overcame in creating this vital resource, including the creation of a 32-mile aqueduct through the Yorkshire Dales.
