Controlling regulatory divergence in future trade arrangements with the EU

This research is supporting and advising the House of Commons Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Select Committee on managing regulatory divergence in the UK’s future relationship with the EU. This includes producing briefings for MPs; synthesising evidence related to the 'Brexit and the implications for UK business' inquiry in various sectors; supporting the Committee in its scrutiny role by suggesting lines of inquiry and specific questions to put to witnesses, including Ministers; reviewing draft reports for legal accuracy; and more broadly contributing to the knowledge base on relations with the EU across Parliament.
