Mindful Yoga
After another busy week, wind down with a mindfulness session.
When: Every Friday from 8.15am to 9am
Where: Berrick Saul Building (room varies)
The location will be the Berrick Saul Building each week thereafter (the room changes each week, please request to join the Google group by emailing megan.russell
A qualified yoga instructor will lead you through a combination of meditation, mindfulness, gentle stretching and breathwork to help you relax and relieve any tension that has developed over the week. Our instructor is able to adapt these sessions to your ability and also what you feel your body needs (restorative, energising, etc.) so please do feel free to share your intentions with at the beginning.
The sessions are completely free and there is no need to register - just turn up!
If possible, please arrive a few minutes before the session so that you can choose a space for you and your mat and get settled.
What to bring
Please bring with you:
- a yoga mat
- your own water bottle (if you would like to)
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move - there's no need to go and buy all new yoga-attire, jogging bottoms or shorts will do!
If you do have any existing injuries or medical conditions that could affect your yoga practice, please inform the yoga instructor at the beginning of the session so that she is aware and can guide you through the session safely.
