Event details

Jason Daff, University of York's Horticulture Manager, talks propagation!

We will meet down by The Quiet Place and Jason will take us into the old walled gardens which once supplied Heslington Hall with fruit, veg and flowers. It is now the base for Biology's greenhouses - one of which we'll be borrowing.

Jason has a selection of Streptocarpus, African violets and sansevieria which he will show how to propagate for you to take home and nuture.

It's great chance to see a 'secret' part of the historic campus and to walk away with a new houseplant.
