SHAP publications

The SHAP physics course is supported by published materials for students, for teachers and for technicians. ‌

‌‌‌

For each year of the course, there is a full-colour student book containing:

contextual material
explanations of physics
outlines of activities
questions
worked solutions
maths notes
link the learning' chapter summaries

Each book allows access to the same content through an online Active Book which students can customise for their own use.

Each student book is accompanied by a comprehensive Teacher and Technician Resource Pack (TTRP) containing:

student sheets
outline chapter plans
cross-references to the Edexcel/Pearson specification
suggestions for teaching
guidance on practical work and the practical skills endorsement
notes for technicians.

The student sheets give further details of activities, support for revision and extension work, and include end-of-chapter tests with mark schemes. Each TTRP is available electronically as a one-off download, including Word files that can be customised.
