The Centre for Advanced Studies in Language and Education (CASLE) undertakes fundamental research on language learning, applied research to understand and improve second language education, and research on the teaching and learning of English and other languages.
The aim of the Centre for Advanced Studies in Language and Education is to lead cutting edge interdisciplinary research relating to language learning, language use and language in and for education. Research encompasses foreign, second, bilingual and first language acquisition and the relations between them.
