How do we ensure our students leave York with the capacity and desire to thrive in a complex, connected, international world?

We all create opportunities to work together, through programme design, cross-departmental co-operation, project management and collaboration with each other and with our students.  This conference provided us with time to learn about group-based initiatives in learning and teaching for both staff and students across the University, and to share our ideas, achievements and difficulties. 

Our keynote speaker was Professor Stuart Bell, Head of York Law School, University of York: "Six impossible things before breakfast?  Problem-based learning and the use of collaboration in the design and delivery of a new curriculum"
