University Mental Health Day

University Mental Health Day is the national campaign to focus efforts on promoting the mental health of people who live, work and study in Higher Education.

HR are encouraging all University staff to get involved in learning more about the subject and to adopt a self care approach.

There will be an informal drop in session for staff on Thursday 1 March where staff can join HR for a tea or coffee. Staff will get to:

  • meet and chat with members of the Mental Health First Contact Network;
  • have a taster of the Mental Health First Aid training;
  • find out more about the mental health support available for staff at York;
  • join a for a guided walk through Campus West.

The session will run on Thursday 1 March from 11.30am to 12.30pm, H/G/09
