Athena SWAN Bronze Award Success

The Department of Economics and Related Studies is delighted to have gained an Athena SWAN Bronze Award.

This highly acclaimed award recognises the advancement of gender equality in higher education and research.  

Professor Jo Swaffield, Head of the Department of Economics and Related Studies said: "This is an important recognition of our departmental commitment to the principles and practice on equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI). We are very proud of the achievements we have made to date and will continue to work to ensure that EDI are effectively embedded in all departmental decisions and processes, as well as being key dimensions for reviewing outcomes.
