CAHR welcomes five new human rights defenders

Over the past month McDonald and Thandekile have come to the Centre as Fellows on the Protective Writing Fellowship. Three human rights defenders, Noon, Marilou and Abdalle, have started the new Extended Fellowship.

We are delighted to be able to host them at the University and wish them all a happy and rewarding stay in York.

CAHR staff would like to give thanks to all the Friends and other supporters in the wider community, who have offered their friendship and been on hand to help the fellows settle into the city and life in the UK.
