Tell us a bit about your background
I grew up in Norfolk and was lucky enough to be able to spend a lot of my childhood outside with my dogs. This fed into my curiosity about the relationship between people, the past and our environments (built and natural), hence the archaeology degree!
Why did you want to get involved with the Student Expert Panel?
I wanted to get involved with the student expert panel to get a better understanding of the higher education system and increase the student voice at York.
What are you involved with at York, and what are you interested in outside of your studies?
In my spare time I am on the Yoga committee, I get to organise all the merchandise and set out classes. Besides Yoga, I run, read and am trying to squeeze as much in with my friends before we all graduate. Fun fact about me: I am a black belt in Karate.
