Tell us a bit about your background
I'm a 2nd year Psychology student and started university after taking a year out to volunteer as a mentor in a secondary school. I'm currently enjoying my Brain and Behaviour modules most and considering a career in clinical work after graduating.
Why did you want to get involved with the Student Expert Panel?
I'm passionate about supporting students like myself from underrepresented backgrounds and consulting between student groups and the university to continue making opportunities on campus open to everybody.
What are you involved with at York, and what are you interested in outside of your studies?
I enjoy taking part in university sports - I play college badminton and am also on the Pool & Snooker society committee as Woman & Non-binary Officer, championing inclusion within cue sports!
