Tell us a bit about your background

I come from a small town in East Anglia and have been studying at York through my undergraduate degree and have now moved onto my masters degree!

Why did you want to get involved with the Student Expert Panel?

I joined the student expert panel, as I strongly believe that all students should get a chance to be heard. 

I want to take part in making the university a better community and have the chance to make meaningful changes.

What are you involved with at York, and what are you interested in outside of your studies? 

I attend a wide range of societies at the University, my record being 24 societies in the first year of my undergraduate. One of my favourites is the Roller Disco society, where I am on the committee.

I have tried my best to learn some languages while at York, taking Japanese and Arabic classes at points throughout my studies. I hope to be able to save up to travel more both during and after my studies.
