Event details

The Wednesday painting workshops are a chance for students from any course in ACT to have a go at painting scenic textures and finishes for theatre, film and television. Each session is informal and purely practical. The skills that you will practise may inspire and inform you for design work for future projects or hobbies, or otherwise just good fun. It can be fast paced, so please come ready to get stuck in. The sessions may also be messy so please ensure that you wear appropriate clothes which you don’t mind getting a splash of paint on.

Join our scenery technician Will Heyes in the workshop to learn new skills in scenery painting!

  • Mahogany wood graining effect
  • Red brickwork (vac form)
  • Antique Steel

Please note: This workshop is in the scenic workshop on the ground floor of TFTI. It is found by going through the doors at the right of the foyer (near the student printer) and following the corridor all the way round to the end. If you do not have access to this corridor, or are lost, please let reception know and they will help you.
