Academic Writing II

This workshop is not about the conventions of academic writing - its aim is to help you improve your writing style, with the emphasis on fluency, clarity, and readability as well as how to convey appropriate information and develop a convincing argument.  It should be useful for both native English speakers and those for whom English is a second/third/etc language, for both MA and PhD students, and for your future writing practice, whether academic or not. I will provide some tips on good writing strategies and on what to avoid, but much of the workshop will be interactive.
