International Careers Ambassadors

Our International Careers Ambassadors play a crucial role in supporting the Career department’s activity, and support for international students. The main tasks involved are:

Running English for Employability Sessions: organising and running weekly English for Employability sessions for international students seeking to improve their English language proficiency.
Promoting Events and Services: utilising your network to effectively promote workshops, fairs, and services tailored to international students.
Gathering Feedback from International Students: gathering feedback about our offer, and communicating feedback to the relevant teams to help continuously improve the services offered.
Supporting Careers Fairs, conferences and agent visits.

Rates of pay

International careers ambassadors are paid £12.00 per hour (as at April 2024)

Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Current international student (this means any student paying overseas tuition fees)
Currently living in the UK
