Have your say about the York Central development

Posted on 3 April 2018

York Central is a landmark development on one of the largest city centre brownfield regeneration sites in England.

The partnership behind the development, including the City of York Council and the National Railway Museum, has launched the Festival of York Central to offer people in York the opportunity to help shape this part of the city for future generations.

The main feature of the festival is an exhibition that is running until Friday 27 April in The Gallery at the National Railway Museum. The exhibition is open from 10.00am to 6.00pm every day and it explores the emerging masterplan for the development.

The festival programme also includes walking tours, workshops and speaking events, organised by My York Central. University staff, students and members of the public are encouraged to join the conversation around this significant development and to share their ideas about what makes York a great place to live, work and relax. The input collected during the festival will help inform future planning submissions and long-term plans for the site. View the full festival programme via My York Central’s website.
