Languages for All short courses

LFA short courses are eight-week programmes focusing on building speaking and listening skills through discussion. There’s no formal assessment - just the chance to develop your skills in a friendly, supportive environment.

Introduce yourself to Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Korean and Russian - or develop confidence in French, German, Italian or Spanish.

Courses offered are:

  • Language for Intercultural understanding (non-Romanised languages for beginners)
  • Language for Everyday Communication (beginners and post-beginners)
  • Language for Conversation and Culture (intermediate and advanced)

You’ll learn in groups of no more than 15 people and registration is open until Monday 8 January 2018.

Short courses run every term. Spring Term courses start from Monday 15 January 2018.
