Ordering hope: Reimagining the future of citizenship

Working Paper No.3

Abstract: As fear, anxiety, hatred and disappointment loom, it is easy to lose sight of the possibilities offered by hope. And yet, hope remains stubbornly persistent, defying hatred and fear, renewing imaginations of democratic citizenship. In this paper Dr Roy looks at the relational and institutional understanding of hope and the series of conversations he's been involved in around hopeful citizenship and ordering hope as well as details of forthcoming papers.
