The University of York is pleased to announce the availability of funds for ECRs to attend conferences or travel to support formation of new partnerships in Africa.

Air pollution and SDGs in Africa as a Focus for Interdisciplinary Research collaborations (ASAFIR) is a new project funded by the University of York. The aim of the project is to develop research collaborations to support transition towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within the University of York and between the University of York and institutions in Ghana and other countries in Africa. One component of the project is to build capacity in Early Career Researchers (ECRs) within an interdisciplinary research structure. For this, the project is providing funds to enable ECRs to travel to conferences, workshops or to establish new partnerships.
