Professor Henrice Altink, Co-Director of the IGDC, attended the inaugural meeting of the Association of Commonwealth Universities’ Commonwealth Climate Resilience Network (CCRN) held in Kingston, Jamaica, 5-8 July.

Over the four days of the network meeting, representatives from 17 institutions, across 11 countries shared insights from their work and contexts. Discussions elaborated the wide range of interventions though which universities support resilience activity within and beyond their own institutions and reaffirmed the value of international collaboration through the CCRN to support and develop these further. The meeting identified a two-year forward work plan and agreed on a governance structure to enable sustained collaboration, and effective support to delivery of the work plan.
