The IGDC is pleased to announce that we are offering a paid Summer Internship placement in partnership with York Student Internship Bureau.

The IGDC is pleased to announce that we are offering a paid Summer Internship placement in partnership with York Student Internship Bureau. The position is for a Communications and Research Assistant and the successful candidate can expect to gain experience of working in global development as well as in the following areas:

• Social media generation and management

• Research and writing news articles for various platforms

• Administrative and IGDC event assistance

The internship is open to undergraduate University of York students and postgraduate students with permission of their dissertation supervisors. The internship will last 12 weeks on a full time or part time basis and rate of pay is £7.50 per hour.

The closing date for applications is 15th May, with interviews expected to take place from 25th May. Expected start Date: 4th June.
