Exploring Interdisciplinary Connections in the Field of Global Health Workshop

The University of York has strengths in global health and international development but these have not always come together, though there are some initiatives emerging between Health Sciences, CHE, Environment and Social Sciences. The IGDC would like to support strengthening research synergies in this area and explore new interdisciplinary initiatives in health and development.

This workshop presents some existing collaborations as a way of initiating a wider conversation around how we can best embed and further develop existing links and open up new ones. What research themes do we see as important for future collaboration and how can we best take these forward?
