New appointment opportunity - Postdoctoral Researcher in Entanglement-based Random Number Generation

The Department of Mathematics is seeking a talented experimental physicist with experimental experience in quantum photonics to set up an entangled photon source and create an entanglement-based quantum random number generator (QRNG).

This Postdoctoral Research Associate (PDRA) position is available via the EPSRC’s Quantum Technologies Hub in Quantum Communications, with the successful candidate being employed by the University of York and based at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) in Teddington, London within its experimental quantum photonics team.
