The Open Research team offer a data management plan review service, where we will review your plan for you before you submit it.

To use the service
To use the service, select 'Request feedback' in DMPonline. Please allow at least five working days before your submission deadline.
The service is available to current members of staff and to our postgraduate researchers.
Use DMPonline to write your plan
DMPonline is a web-based tool that helps researchers to produce data management plans that meet institutional and funder requirements. We have a subscription to the tool.
To write your data management plan we recommended that you use DMPonline, as it provides funder templates (including UKRI templates) and the York DMP template, detailed guidance to help you write your plan, and features such as sharing and export options.
