University of Coimbra confers Honoris Causa Doctorate to James Clark

Professor Clark received the honorary doctorate from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Coimbra (FFUC).
The honour highlighted his role as "a leader in the area of green and sustainable chemistry, with his work being used in the development of more sustainable chemical and pharmaceutical products by various companies and research centres".
The University of Coimbra institution dates back to the 13th century and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
