REF 2021

The Research Excellence Framework (REF) is the system for assessing the quality of research in UK higher education institutions. The outcome of REF informs the funding the University receives from Research England to fund our research. 

The final internal deadline for submissions is 29 January 2021, and guidance for the preparation of these submissions can be found on the REF Preparation page.

The REF 2021 submission has been postponed to 31 March 2021. For further details please see the information on
