Professor Kate Pickett has worked with colleagues to develop a primer and short video on promoting and protecting health and wellbeing during the cost of living crisis.

The cost of living crisis is challenging local authorities and service providers across the country. Professor Kate Pickett, who chairs our Cost of Living Research Group, recently worked with colleagues to develop a primer to shape creative and strategic thinking about how to protect and promote health and well-being.

The primer was developed with partners within the Healthy Livelihoods theme of the ActEarly research programme, a city collaboratory approach to early promotion of good health and wellbeing, working in areas with high levels of child poverty: Bradford, West Yorkshire and Tower Hamlets, London

The team also developed a short video message on protecting and promoting health and wellbeing during the crisis.
