Immigrant Nigerian Women’s Reported Experiences of Living and Working in the UK

I graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) Ile-Ife, Nigeria, with a BA in English Language in 2001. I completed my Msc in Human Resource Management from Sheffield Hallam University in 2014. I am presently pursuing a PhD in Women Studies.

The primary focus of my research is on the experiences of immigrant Nigerian women living and working in the UK. There is limited literature on Nigerian migration to the UK, with little or no focus on the experiences of Nigerian women in the immigration process and integration issues.

I seek to critically explore the reasons why Nigerian women migrate to the UK and their experiences of integrating into the UK system.
